This carbide tipped router bit is specifically designed and manufactured for the high quality demanded by woodworking industrial applications. The cutting edges of this router bit are made from high industrial grade micrograin carbide tips brazed onto a heat-treated carbon steel body thus leading to exceptional hardness and rigidity. 2-wing design is most popular and economically priced. 3-wing and 4-wing design is sturdy and is commonly used for slotting plywood and composition boards to make T-moldings, box joints, spline joints and biscuit jointing. All slotting cutters can be interchangeable and stacked on the same 5/16" spindle arbor for various applications. Must be used with arbors with 5/16" spindle, such as Magnate Tool No. 4301, 4302, and 4303.
