I have this Bench Dog router plate and think it is an excellent product. Levels perfectly in your router table to avoid hang-ups as you pass stock across the table. Two screws hold plate down securely and evenly. Mine is aluminum with two sizes of aluminum inserts. I didn't like hearing that they only include one plastic insert now.
This is a much higher quality plate than the phenolic or pressboard versions. Stays flat and accurate. Easily drilled for additional routers with the proper template and a drill press.

(Sold Separately) All of our Bench Dog (black) aluminum router plates are a full 8-1/4 x 11-3/4 x 1/4 - the perfect size for any router and all of our new tables! Every heavy-duty aluminum plate includes an insert with a 1-1/2 bit opening, plate-locking bolts for our new leveling and locking system (Shown at right), and router-mounting hardware. And now, finding the right plate is easy! Just locate the Group your router belongs to (see overview) and select a table package with a plate pre-drilled for that Group. If your router is not listed, choose from the Standard (3-1/4 insert opening) or Large (3-11/16 insert opening) blank-plate options and drill custom mounting holes.
